What is RedLaTIF?
The Latin American Remote Sensing and Forest Fires Network (RedLaTIF, due to its abbreviation in Spanish) is a regional network aimed at bringing together Latin American countries with the purpose of observing and managing forest fires. This network is closely linked to the Global Observations of Forest and Land Cover Dynamics (GOFC/GOLD) program, and has the main objective of contributing to fulfill the purposes of such program.
